Confirming fluid capacity

Confirming fluid capacity
before someone jumps in and says “buy an owners manual.” I know. I have one on order. But my needed to change my fluids on my new to me street bob and had the weekend free.
The motor oil is dead nuts on the jiffy stand when warm so I got that capacity right.
For the transmission I used one quart. Do I check the level on the side stand or upright?
The primary I used 1 quart as well.
The motor is the 96” in a 2013 street bob.
Thanks

I asked the same question a little over a year ago when I first got my Low Rider. Ended up being 1 quart primary, 1 quart transmission, and right at 2 quarts for the engine (with new oil filter). I started out with 2.25 quarts for the engine, but ended up having to siphon out the additional .25 quart with a turkey baster, as it was too much oil. This is checking the engine oil cold, on the jiffy stand. Right where it should be now...half way up the dipstick.

Just finished my build so this is still fresh in my mind out of manual.
Primary and Trans a quart each.
Motor, 3 quarts in a DRY motor, as in filling after a rebuild, i.e. nothing in there, nyet, nada.
2.5 to 2.8 in a wet motor, (as in like an oil change) periodically check with dipstick on jiffy stand as you fill.

How bout we give OP some sage advice - otherwise he'll end up chasing his *** w/ adding motor oil
Primary = 1Q
Trans = 1Q
Motor = ha ha
Step 1 - Vent crank to atmosphere
Step 2 - Fill motor oil to some level on the dip stick - like to the fill mark (while motor cold)
Step 3 - Go ride - then ride some more (may take 2.., 3..., 4 outings depending on distance) motor will expel excess oil through vent - (you'll know this by the excess oil om the bottom of the scoot / motor / oil pan - clean it off after each ride)
Step 4 - Once oil has stopped being expelled - after riding - allow motor to cool
Step 5 - Mark that level on the dip stick (file a line across the dip stick)
Step 6 - Fill to that line
Step 7 - When you change oil/ oi filter - be sure to fire up the motor to cycle oil into the filter - then fill to that line
That is the oil level your motor requires - each motor different - and for us to sit here telling you to add X amount - is utter stupidity
================
Otherwise - someone tells you to add X quarts..., which you do
Then you ride.., motor expels the excess oil - likely into your air cleaner - you check it..., find its low from where you filled it..., add more oil
The entire process repeats - and in the meantime - your cleaner gets gummed up with oil..., your fuel system gets gummed up with oil..., your pistons carbon up from burning the expelled oil..., and the plugs get fouled
And all along you're wondering why your bike is running so shitty
Little free advice = worth every cent
