Trying to find my old Lowrider
I'm just wondering if anyone in here has seen or knows who owns my old Lowrider. I sold it on consignment at Kosco Harley Davidson in Kinnelon ( north Jersey near Wayne ) NJ just under a year ago. Its a 2000 FXDL Dyna Lowrider in two tone burgandy/black. It had somewhere around 23 - 24K miles on it when purchased. I would have put more on it but I also have a Road King. Anyway, it had a slightly worked 95IN Twin Cam with V & H pipes with no baffles ( awesome sounding bike ) It also has Ness rims/Rotors/Pulley, Yaffe mirrors ( tiny, looked great but you couldn't see **** ), Joker grips, Lowered shocks, 150 rear tire with lottsa burn out residue inside the rear fender, braided brake lines etc - etc. I'm just curious if anyone knows where my old buddy is. It was time for something new for me but I do miss that ride. I hope whoever bought it is enjoying it as much as I did. If your out there I'd love to hear from you and can tell you some great stories about that bike, make sure you ask me the one about the time I got stopped in Wildwood ( Roar to the shore ) 1/2 in the bag at 2 AM with a topless chick on the back, no helmets doing about 80.

Let me explain. I'm all for riding with no helmets. Every year in Laconia I enjoy that freedom as well as Myrtle beach and many other states that don't have Helmet laws but you have to understand - Jersey has had a Helmet law so long that people look at you like you have 3 heads if you mention riding without one. I've had conversations with non or novice riders here that thought I was making it up when I told them that many other states allow you to choose whether you wore a Helmet or not and were appalled when they found out I wasn't making it up. I am 100% for choice. Just because there isn't a law doesn't mean you can't wear one if you choose to - but I hate being forced to.
