Ok, just put on my sissy bar. had to feed the rear blinker wire through the slot to put on the sissy bar.
Now my left rear light only works as running light, no blinker, no brake
right works fine

switched bulbs.....

now left works as running and brake...but no blinker

any ideas?

would a pinched wire cause this?

 

Yes! I had the same problem when I relocated my rear signals the second time. Had to run the wires separately after I repaired the place that had bare wire showing. After the fix they worked great. Turn, lrunning and brake lights all!

Hey there. When I moved my rear lights, the contact seat for the lightbulb (white thing with 2 metal points) had rotated in the housing, which resulted in a similar effect you are describing. I fiddled with it a bit and got it seated correctly and that sorted out the problem. Hope you get it fixed...I was frustrated for sure!

looks like you and I had the same problem, I just messed with the housing and bulbs and all is good! A headache I did not want to deal with.
