Default Looking to add some rake

I'm wanting to add a little rake to my bike...not like an OCC chopper or anything...

Does anyone have any good recommendations on good and SAFE set ups?

Will it hurt my warranty at all? Any help would be great! Thanks

I'm wanting to rake it with just changing out the triple trees

Wide Glide Tree Conversion will give you a raked look. There is also a few kits out there if you google for mid glide rake. I would suggest the wide glide rake conversion.

There's a rake kit. It's just a matter of swapping out your triple trees. And yes, it will void your warranty.

Do you know who or where I can get that kit?

Something like this?

Thats just a wide glide kit. I would check out finding a set of used trees. From a 06 up DWG

So all I would need is DWG trees and just swap them out with mine?

You can find conversion kits that have more or less rake. Of course you want to keep the trail of your bike in mind when selecting one. I just got a front end kit off this forum and it looks like it has the +2 rake built in which I don't mind. I was just wanting the wide front end.

Whenever considering an adjustment in rake, it's best to learn something about rake vs trail. An increase of 5 or 7 degrees in the trees for example, without modifying the rake on the frame along with it will lead to a most ill handling, ( even dangerous,) motorcycle.

That's the reason to cut the frame in addition to adding big jumps in the rake of the triple tree. It adjusts the trail to match the new overall rake you're trying to achieve.

Just google " rake and trail" to get a detailed explanation of the necessary relationship between the two..

Holy hell, definitely not planing on cutting my frame or anything extensive like that.

Would it be OK to just put 3deg rake trees on it and call it a day?
