Default Bottom end bearings on a 2007 FXD

Does any one know about the bottom end bearings being some what weak on the TC 96's I was told their good up to about 100 hp then the bottom ends need to come apart and the bearings replaced with the stronger Timken. I have heard that the cranks are a pressed fit from the factory, just curious as at some point I will be doing the 103" upgrade.

The only difference between the 96 and 103 are the size of the bore.

Most say good to 120. Me I spun a rod bearing with it at 96".

Really, do you know what caused the bearing to spin? In your pic it looks like the pin end of the rod with the bushing in place.

Bad design + high mileage.

Also not servicable. Have to pull the crank and change out the rods.
