Default New bars!

Hey everybody. I need some help. I just bought a 1998 super glide. It has aftermarket t bars. However, I am taller and want higher handlebars. Nothing crazy, but I was thinking around 14" apes. For bars and labor, about what am I looking at paying?

Thanks for the help
Paul

A lot.. Ha ha.. Congrats on the new scoot.. Depending on what you buy and where you have them installed, your looking at roughly a grand.. You can buy a set of apes and all cables for about 500 and install them yourself.. That's what I would do, if you've got some minor mechanical skills. Good luck!

My dealership quoted me about $700, WITHOUT the actual bars...

A rack of beers and a manual wont even run you $100... Shoot, if you get lucky, you can find a manual on ebay for cheaps...

Im in the process of doing the work on my bike myself, and its honestly a really fun learning experience... I don't understand why people take their bike to the dealership to get work done, unless its a warranty issue or anything involving tearing the engine apart...
