OK - now we can talk shop...

1. Stage-1 is your 1st air upgrade w/larger element and modded back-plate which allows more volume. HD's Heavy Breather is decent & priced @ $200 - $250 on eBay.

2. Depending on your taste in exhaust and desired performance, decent exhaust system(s) will run $700 - $1000. I'd say a 2-1 is best performance bet so you might want to look @ D&D Fatcat.

3. Gonna need a tuner to dial-in these upgrades...add another $250 - $400, depending on the make/model.

Overall, you're looking at ~$1150 - $1650 + install time/cost (if you hire it done)...

If you have a carby then you won't need the tuner, just some jets.

If you wanna go cheaper but still get the boost then use a K&N replacement filter (stock air box) and some slip on mufflers or just de-baffle your stock ones although slip-ons will sound better.

Fuel Pak tuners are 250 bucks so you could get it all done for under a grand, well under if you de-baffle....or sell her into slavery like the rest of us have done ;-)

Might want to factor in a few extra bucks for things like gaskets, o-rings, etc... they arent too expensive tho.

While not the only way or perhaps the best way, here is what mine cost me, labor done myself. My bike runs strong and runs great. I just wanted to improve the sound, look and performance, not looking to have the highest tq and hp numbers.
S&S Stealth Air cleaner $130.00
Vied-10 fuel management $120.00
V&H 2 into 2 short shots $360.00
Big City Thunder monster baffles $80.00
TOTAL: $690.00
