LED ??? when only using in the rear?
I am going to change the rear turnsignals over too LED bulbs. I have a nice custom set up in the front and not going to change them so there still incandescent and will remain this way. So my question is do you think i still need equalizer's being half the sytem is still drawing plenty of power ?
I know i discover my answer when i install them but was sort of wondering before i get them is i need that unit.

I guess it all depends on if the light you are installing is one of those ones designed to plug into the stock housing and has a build in load resister or are you going full after market and wiring the LED's straight into the electical system. If its a plug and play LED bulb that plugs right into the stock housing then you should be good, other wise you will more than likely need to use some kind of load equalizer. If you need a load equalizer and aren't affraid of doing a little wire splicing, use the TrueFlex Dual Converter from Custom Dynamics, its cheap ($5 for each light) and works great, I have used it on my setup for 3 years with no issues.

Well i got the new led's today and installed them in the rear turn signals. They worked fins are far as the blinking function is concerned. But there rated at 10 Wat's and 800 lumen s that part is a joke the stock tail light bulb i took out was way way way brighter. Oh well all i wanted was bright lights as the mountain riding is spooky in the fog. Guess i have to try a different method any clues guy's ???
