Default Raked bearing cups, anyone used this kit?

I was thinking about adding another 3° of rake to my wideglide and found this site that sells raked bearing cups so essentially it is like chopping the frame instead of putting on raked trees. Has anyone used one of these kits? If so how do you like it?

Default Vulcan kit

I installed the same kit on my FXDL. Vulcan is very good quality. I had raked triple trees on a previous Dyna and the raked neck cups are more stable at higher speeds. IMO

Might be a less expensive way to achieve a rake. Keep us informed and show some before and after photos if you go this route. I could be interested in this kit also.

I would think the added rake would lower the front end a bit. Wondering if one would want longer forks to compensate??

Default shocks with raked cups

It will lower the front end some. (You can use a rake and trail calclator.). I wanted lower, so I went with shorter shocks as well (long after the install - which was very straight forward.) Longer fork tubes will stretch out the front for that look. Regardless, less adverse effects. Again - IMO from this mod.

I trigged it out, and it will lower the front 1 1/2" the same as I lowered my rear, so I will keep my stock tubes and everything will be level. I will make sure to post pics of the install, and before and after pics. May be a while before I can get to it with the holidays.
