Default how to losen compensator nut

I have a 2006 dyna super glide FXDI and I cannot get the compensator nut off. I am turning it counter clockwise and it is not budging. I moved it a little bit but it almost seemed as if i were tightening it. I even tried turning counter clockwise and it just moved a little bit as well. Am I missing something?? I don't see why it won't loosen

When I pulled my inner primary I had a hell of a time getting it off. I got a breaker bar and put all of my body weight into it while the bike was in gear so it wouldn't move. When it finally broke free I went down hard.

I was using a 3/8 in breaker bar and I went out and bought a 1/2 inch. I also used a heat gun to warm it up a bit. Finally it broke loose. There was a butt load of blue and red thread locker on there.

When I put it back together, can I just use blue thread locker just in case I need to take it apart again, or stick with red?? thanks

Definitley stick with red. The last thing you want is that thing coming loose when your riding.
