Default TC88 hydraulic tensioner and how to check for it without having to tear it down

I'm looking at a 2006 super glide that supposedly has the new hydraulic tensioner upgrade from the factory! How or what do I need to look at on motor to determine if it has it or not without tearing into the motor? Thanks in advance

Bike does have a 6 speed tranny, but that doesn't mean it has the tensioner upgrade!

You don't actually have to tear into the motor, just take the cover off to take a peak (Rt Side). The 06 Dynas have the new Tensioners so I highly doubt someone went in and swapped to old style...not exactly a popular downgrade to spend money on.

You could always pull the oil filter and tear it down, looking for orange bits. Worry about it when you see them, I guess.

[SIZE="3"It's just as Coolaid says all 2006 Dynas had the hydraulic tensioners 6 speeds and 88's....I'd just pull the exhaust off and then open up the cam chest too see what shape your in....

Just sayin
