Default 21 is DONE!

Finished install of a 21 inch front on my FLD yesterday. Test rode out to Monterey and Carmel, yes... the weather in Nor Cal today was perfect! Steering is a bit heavier at low speeds however not too much of a difference from the 19 that I had on before. I am getting a lot more sway from the rear end now, a speed wobble at 80mph on a down grade is not fun! I was told that a TrueTrack would help stabilize the rear. Testimonials from anyone with a TrueTrack installed on a Switchback would be welcomed. Anyway, the front is OEM from a Softail Deuce w/ stock HD Dunlop, brake rotors are form a Softail Breakout. Most have gone with black wide glide wheels and white walls, I went the other direction with chrome and black wall. Don't get me wrong, I dig the black wheel look but the number of murdered out black Dynas on this forum is staggering. Trying to be unique with modifications is getting tougher and tougher, everyone here just keep setting the bar higher. I want to thank chinashop bull, 1HD1C, Frigol, tomlite and Sticky4 for your contributions, proving the versatility of the Switchback and the Dyna platform in general. Respect to you all.

Finished last night.

Before todays test ride

Looks fantastic. Definitely wouldn't mind a Switchback in my garage. To me, with the exposed shock they look more like the old FL's I fell in love with as a kid than the new touring bikes ever will.

Sweet ride. It is about building your bike as far as I am concerned. Keep up the good work. As you can see in my garage my WG is a little different too

that looks awesome , do you think your speed wobble could be from mismatched tread ?
