Default Dyna Arlen Ness fairing problem

I installed the AN fairing on my dyna today, and I saw on the instructions not to overtighten the little black nylon bolts on the windshield because they break off easily, so i tightened it a little bit in all of them, 2 a little more, so one broke off, it came with the extra, cool, learned my lesson. Undid a bit of that second one so they're all similar on the threading.

When I aligned my fairing, one just popped off and broke. So frustrating. Now I'm missing one of them. My question is, wouldn't it break easily with the wind hitting the windshield right on?!?! I searched the forum but couln't find anything about it. Any solutions to this?!!

Thanks!

Had pretty much same issue with mine. I ended up going to lowes with a set of what AN sent and got nuts and bolts for it. Flaw on Arlen's hardware but easy fix.

I've had mine set up with the stock nuts and bolts for a while now with no issue, except popping one on initial installation. Wind is no problem even over 100 mph. The metal bolts are a good solution but be mindful about over tightening as you could crack the plastic.

I was thinking maybe just getting some nylon metal bolts and putting it on, just tight enough so it won't move, i wouldn't be able to find any of those nylon ones anywhere i think?
