The '80-85 models had a skinny rear tire compared to the '03. So the fender is probably wider on the '03. The brake light may not be wide enough and have some gaps. Would need to measure the width of the fender to be sure.
Made it work on my 05 but made a new bracket to attach to my strut,allso had to do some wiring . I bought some new connectors so it would be a plug in with no splices.

That doesn't seem to be the American way anymore. Most bikes these days are assembled using off the shelf chrome parts. They aren't built anymore like they once were. Want a truly unique bike build it. I try to fabricate as many of my own parts as I can. I enjoy it.
