Why is it necessary to cut the wires from the turn signal switches? Can't they just be disconnected from the plug, (the lamp wire leads), by the gas tank, pulled through the bars and then plugged back into the plug once relocated? I want to put mine on the lower forks and am also looking for mounts for the windshield/fairing quick disconnect if possible. Thanks
