Sunday trip to the dealer
Parts Dept's are open here on Sunday, just no bike sales. Picked up fluids and gaskets for my tranny job from my indy the other day, but he didn't have a main gear-to-case bearing. Gonna get new exhaust gaskets since the pipes are off, and figured a new ratchet pawl spring would be a good idea as well...read several threads here about what can happen when that breaks.
BTW, I'm humbled that you wanted my Part 2 thread turned into a Sticky. I've learned so much over the years reading what ya'll post here in the forums; just wanted to pay it back in a small way. t/y

Parts on Sunday. Seems there are a lot dealership places open on Sunday anymore, not to mention 6 day work week to boot. Did they have the parts ya needed for an EVO? I'll count my blessings. I'm still just working 5 days a week.
The time you put in on the Part 2 showed and I for one say great job. Especially for taking the time on the pics. Thank You Sir.

When the Concord, Nc store was under consideration as another Harley dealership (even with stores in nearby Charlotte, Gastonia and Statesville already open,) the factor that sealed the deal was when the Dealer Principal was asked what his operating hours would be. All he had to say was "7 days a week." They granted him his license. That of course forced the other Dealerships to open up on Sundays too.
And that was Harley's plan all along. They want their Dealers open 7 days a week.
