Default How do I take the wires out of the switch plugs?

I tried a search as I'm sure this has been over before but either the search is not currently working or I am too stupid to figure it out.

I am trying to get the wires out of my handlebar switch plugsto lengthen them. I've done this before on a Sporty I had but these plugs are different and I can't figure it out. Below is a pic of my connector. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If these are like mine then on the back side of the connectors there shoud be a rubber plug that the wires go through. Pry that out with a small screw driver and then under that there should be a plastic plug you can pry up from the edge. This is wedge shapedon theinside. Once that is out you can pry back the locking tabs and pull out the wires. Make sure that you mark down how the wires went into that connector so you can put them back in the correct order.

What year is your bike?
Are you showing us the COMPLETE Male and the Female ends? They don't look like Deutsch connectors to me they way I see it. Maybe they're the newer Molex connectors.

The bike is an '07 Nightrain. The pics are of the connectors on the end of both sets of switches. What they plug into is the harness on the backbone of the bike.

There is no plastic plug on the back side of my plugs. There looks to be one on the front but I cant figure out how to release it. I can't believe no one here has done this...
