Default Anyone using Revo or Progressive like this?

Looking to stop my 2011 RGU from bottoming out. Anyone using Revo or Progressives with a total rider weight of about 500 lbs, and how does that work for you?

I talked with Motorcycle Metals about the Ohlins and we can make up a set of Ohlins that will handle it well but it will be a bit more expensive. BTW, if you really want to understand how shocks work call those folks. Howard is a wealth of knowledge and a really nice guy.

when my wife and i are both on we are at about 500 lbs.
i just put a pair of progressive 412's on yesterday.
its perfect.
they're adjustable and they come out of the box turned to the 'lowest' setting and i didnt even mess with making them stiffer.
they are awesome and jpcycles has em on sale right now for 269. i ordered them and they came the very next day

Did you buy the standard or heavy duty version of the shock?

They're legit - I bought my Monotubes from them.

The negative feedback that I've read was regarding difficulties returning goods - I hear that they drop ship, so this could be the reason, so best make sure of the part number before ordering - you can do a search for them on here and you find a good few reviews on them.
