As many of you know I am giving my 04 CVO to my son as a gift before we leave to Sturgis in the morning. since I am not going to be able to post anything until maybe when I get home I figured I would update my signature now to show that I only have 1 bike. good news is that now there is room for a new ride. maybe I will find something out in sturgis. either way, when I can post a video, I will be posting my sons reaction to his new gift and scoot....I hope, naaaaa, I am sure he is going to be really stoked. it may be a grown man crying scene but it will be worth it.

You need to update your map too. Just wondering here how you got from the eastern states over to the western state without going thru the Midwest states?

 

shipped the bike 2 times once to Denver and then back from vegas that was in 04, and last year shipped the bike to Sturgis and back...work makes it difficult to take the time needed to ride out west, although this year its on....riding out tomorrow, so I can fill in that map...

 

Oh I see now. Safe travels to y'all, and can't wait to see your sons reaction. My daughter gets my Sporty some day.

thanks bro...part of the bike was paid for by a small bank account that my sister andf i split after my dad passed about 4 years ago. I just sat on the money until i had a reason to spend it, so i am going to tell him that the bike is a gift from my wife, myself and his poppy....even though my dad hated the fact that i rode, it will still mean the world to my son. The two of them were very bad together...

 

Reminds me of my son and FIL. Like two peas in a pod. I think it is meant to be like that. Don't worry, your turn will come sooner than you think.

 

This will be a trip never to be forgotten by your son....video is a must, especially when you transfer ownership!!
