We flew our Cessna up for 2012. Camped free at the airport. It was a blast to be there and see what it was all about. The food was actually very reasonable. Beer on the streets was able to be had for a couple bucks, again reasonable.
As far as going this year, not us. We are going to ride up a couple weeks before to enjoy the hills before the traffic jams.
Hope your time up there is great and safe. Party on dude !

Flew your Cessna? Man, that's big pimpin!!!! Nice.

I'm sure there will be some pics taken.....some may be incriminating, will use disclosure.

Yeah, we're scheduled for a week at Glenco, right off "the alley". Honestly, I'm not sure if I can make it a week from what I've heard about this place!

Slippie,
Ya gotta pace yourself, be sure to plan on some ridin' days, lots to see.
Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, Devil's Tower, Custer Park, Mt Rushmore, Hewlett, Sundance, Needles Hwy etc.
Plus ya gotta see some shows, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Florida Georgia Line, Zac Brown, John Mayall all at the Chip this year.
Then ya gotta spend some quality time with the girls at One Eyed Jacks, Knuckle Saloon, Easy Riders, Broken Spoke etc. etc. etc..
The Mayor's Ride and The Legends Ride are cool to get in on if you like that sort of thing. Hill Climb and Flat Track races are great! (Jackpine Gypsies)
Whew! I'm getting worn out just thinking about it.
p.s. Be sure to get a Bikini Bike Wash, soooo worth it. Yer bike will thank ya, too.

I like the way you think, man and appreciate the valued info. I just figured the bike wash was no different than the ones at the local stealership/Hooters/Twin Peaks, etc. I think the back up cash and credit cards are covered. However, if I hafta rely on friends with the same.......I may new friends. I'm not familiar with the Ladies from the Broken Spoke, The Knuckle or One Eyed Jacks, but my interest has been put on high alert. Thanks!!!!

the flat track races this year are AMA pro flat track national event...all the top riders will be there. don't know how old you are, but see you are from oklahoma...the races will be the same high class type pro riders that used to run the fairgrounds in oklahoma city back in the 70's. should be quite a show.
