Default Should i cancel warranty upon engine build

So i have a 2013 bagger. Looking to put in a fuel moto 107 kit with heads. Pretty much will void the warranty on all engine stuff. I don't really want to wait five more years until the warranty is up. I have a leak on the bike now and figure what better time to tear her open. Is there any reason to keep the warranty. ECM issues, wiring, stereo, or you think i should just cancel it and use the money to upgrade the compensator etc now. Thanks

Cancel and get the refund. Never been a fan of these extended warranties.

I ditched the warranty right off the bat, because I knew that I
had to build more power and ponies, before it was even a year old.

Thanks thats what i was thinking. I am not going to have much covered if i go the fuel moto route. The most i seem to get are leaks, and although the warranty has been nice so far, i have no connection on the harley shop, since all the service writers i knew well left. I kept saying i would wait until the warranty is up, but man reading all the stuff on this forums, kills me.

Terminate the warranty and use the funds on your Fuel Moto build....

It is a service contract and not a warranty. I have never bought a service contract on tools, appliances, cars or motorcycles. Saved a fortune having had over 160 vehicles from cars, motorhomes, trucks and motorcycles.

Cancel is as it is no longer good anyway when you add performance upgrades.

I went into the garage this morning and can you believe it i have a leak in the tranny. I think its just coming out of the clutch cable so should be a simple fix. Needless to say i am letting harley fix it. Then i think i am going to cancel the warranty. Ordered from Fuel moto this morning, very nervous doing this build because its my local shop. I wish fuel moto was closer i have really learned to trust them in my short phone and email conversations with them, they have impressed with their customer service. I am excited to see how it turns out, should be fairly simple for a mechanic. I watched all the videos and have no desire to do it myself. Congrats to those of you that can, i am not that skilled.
