Why does it make you laugh?

Would you laugh if it was your vehicle?

Nothing you can do about it, it happens.

It makes me laugh too. I'd never have a car alarm in my vehicle. Car alarms really don't do much these days. When they were new people paid attention to them. Now someone hears a car alarm and they don't even bother to look, it's just an annoyance. I really don't see the benefit of them these days, touch sensitive (vibration) alarms at least.

I remember riding though town once and setting off a car alarm, being the kind of character that I am, it made me laugh a little and also put a big smile on my face. I guess that my bike and I have an attitude and once in awhile we show it.

Back in the day, a cop would respond to a car alarm. Now no one cares.
In high crime areas like SF, "proximity" car alarms would activate just by walking too close to a vehicle.
Alarms are just an annoyance now, 99% are false.

Because its funny.

Yes. A guy rode by twice this morning and set off the alarm on my truck both times. Nothing you can really do about it.
