How to repair paint/chips caused by corrosion
My bike is 10 years old RK i have black master cylinder...i guess the salt air is making the paint bubbling up and some of it is flaking off...other then replacing it...i would like to repair it....
Any ideas how it can be done...the flake-off is about half inch square......do i sand, prime it then spray paint...will it come back...???
Any better solution sout there?

If you have paint bubbling up and flaking off of a master cylinder, there's about a 99.99% chance it's because brake fluid got on the paint.
If that's the case, then you're going to have to not only strip off the damaged paint, but you're going to have to use some kind of solvent, like alcohol, to remove all traces of brake fluid before you repaint.
Full disclosure, I'm not an automotive chemist, so whatever solvent you're going to need is above my pay grade.
Good luck!
