Who still rides an EVO motor?
Just curious.....see alot of threads about people selling or tradeing their 1-2 yr bike for the new year models.....to each their own...but who here still rides an EVO? Not just own one that sits as an extra bike, but rides an EVO as their main bike.
I have two..85 fxr, and a 95 softail custom. Ride them both equally.
How about you guys?

I still ride a 96 Softail Custom that I bought new in late 95. However, I just bought an 07 Road King Custom so I should sell my Evo, just have not been able to bring myself to do it yet. It has been, and is, a great bike.

03 Flstci twin cam---98 Wideglide. I like the EVO sweet engine. Its stock with 25,000 miles. Ride the wideglide when I am alone most of the time. Ride the softtail when my girlfriend wants to go. Might spend a little more time on the softtail. Not going to sell either one---looking for a third maybe fourth bike.

Just got the FLHRS so only have a few hundred miles on it.
The Road King is smoother at speed, especially high speed. I still feel like I am sitting on it as opposed to the Softail where you sit in it and are more kicked back. I know I will get used to the RK and really like it. It actually is probably a little more maneuverable at very slow speed, and as I said before, it is very smooth at speeds of 70-100mph. The TC96 and 6 speed are nice. I only have the stage 1 with a/c and slip-ons so far.
The FXSTC is stock, engine wise, except for an S&S and 2 into 1 Hooker tuned flow.
I have ridden the softail as a tourer many times. All over the west and throughout the Rocky Mountains and from the eastcoast to the west coast. Round trips to Sturgis and Laughlin, etc. I intend to do the same with the RK.
There are no cons to either bike as far as I am concerned.
