Default Andrews 21 build.. stage 4

I guess I'm doing what they call a stage 4 build
1. Andrews 21 cam(witch I have installed already)
2. 95 inch big bore kit
3. Big Boyz Street ported stock heads
4. Mukuni 42mm carb I'm hoping this setup runs good I know the heads are a bit over kill but why there off why not port them... I plan on using a Stock head gasket as I here the. 30 gasket makes for hard starting. And pipes I'll be keeping my big shot staggereds with there 2into1 crossover and maybe I'll run big city qq baffles

Go to the dyno section in the Touring or Softail sections.. You should find a lot of builds that's close you yours..
also you can see all the dyno sheets and results...

Had that exact build in my 2001 FXD , the HD 16 fq pipes which are the same. I also had a DTT adj ignn. I ran the v&h quietbaffles, although I did open up the small holes in the baffle. I also used Khromewerks drag pipe baffles, louder but more midrange. My constant problem was a ping from 3000-3400 under acceleration.the needle needs to be shimmed as moving the needle in the clip proved too rich. You need to get the leanest accel pump also. If you can find a dyno guy who can tune a carb, you will be vey happy

I used a stock gasket, but,my heads were decked .025. If your heads haven't been decked ,go with a.036 or .040 Cometic.

I was thinking of using stock gaskets to place it safe. I wonder how the bike will run and sound.. Something tells me the head work will make for some cool sound
