Default Brakeout or LowRider

Thinking of getting my first Harley. After a month research and many, many trips to the dealer, plus a few test rides I've narrowed it down to 2 possibilities. The Dyna LowRider or the Softail Breakout. I know they are very different and they ride different but I like them both and can't decide. I would use this as my only bike and during the week I ride only 5-15 miles per day (store, gym, groceries), but on weekends I like to go on longer trips, 200+ per day. Which bike will serve me better?

I'm 5 foot 8 inches and about 175lb.

Great price on the lowrider. It'll handle better than the breakout too.

Very tough decision. The Lowrider is about $4k less and has dual rotors, rubber mounted motor, and adjustable handlebars. It has also has a classic look that is great. The Breakout has great styling, beautiful wheels, the low and mean look, and dont forget that big old fat tire out back. Man does it look good!

Tough decision, glad it's you making it and not me. Good luck.

I would pick the lowrider. My first harley was a dyna, they are great handling bikes.

I would go with the Low Rider, while the Breakout looks badass, I think the lower priced and better handling bike is what I would be on. But it all comes down to what you value more, the look or the ride.

My last bike was an 09 Low Rider. It was sweet. I'd get another if I was looking for a cruiser. You'll need a better seat though if your riding 2-up. Harley Sundowner seat was a good addition for me and the wife.

As others have said, the LR is a classic Harley, great handling, and very, very versatile.

The BO is coolest looking Harley, IMO. And probably a blast to ride.

That being said, what is your riding style? Bar hopping or longer trips? 2-up riding? The LR will handle a windshield, passenger backrest, etc. Whereas the BO would look like crap with those items.

Lowrider...BO's are over priced and kind-of awkward...IMO.
