I saw a guy just a few days ago with the front tire tow system. Personally I wouldn't try it, because I'd be too afraid of the bike popping into gear and damaging parts. And afraid of all the grit and rocks flying around the back of my truck, or if you have to avoid a road obstacle... To place your tires on either side in 4 wheeled vehicle is an instinct. Plus it's easy enough to rent or barrow a trailer if you won't be towing the bike on a regular basis. $300 goes a long way for a case of beer to a buddy for barrowing his trailer.

Default I hear you...

I think about hitting some of the bumps that will inevitably happen and seeing my back tire 6 feet in the air in my rearview. Couldn't imagine trying to back this thing up either.

Think I was looking for someone to tell me all my fears were unfounded....

Thanks for the input...would still be interested in hearing from someone who has actually used one.

I can borrow a single bike enclosed trailer and a two bike open trailer...but ran across one of these on Craigslist for $145.

You know why that one is listed on Craigslist now.
