FP3 Fuel Maps for Seasons?
I finally got around to installing the Vance & Hines FP3 on my 2014 FLHTK and it went as flawlessly as one could ever want.
As I was sitting there flashing my first auto tune map I wondered if anybody has experience and benefited from creating air/fuel maps by the season?
Here in Houston, we only have two extremes: Warm & Humid, or Hades Hot & Humid. On some of my power equipment and planes there is a seasonal fattening/and leaning out adjustment that brings better performance.
I'm sure the nature of the modern Rushmore Systems and all the sensors automagically correct for air pressure, ambient temp, etc., but thought I'd ask anyway.
As easy as it is to generate auto tune maps, I suppose I'll check it out and report back if anyone's interested.
