I really like the way the new 2017 designed air cleaner looks. I have a 2003 Ultra. Is it possible to put the new designed air cleaner on my bike? If so what mods and adapters do I need? Thanks

 

I don't know for sure but they have different size throttle bodies and I think that would be a deal breaker given you will need a different backplate for the crazy looking filter. The stock filter is smaller than the one on my lawnmower and if you try the conversion I suggest you go high flow backplate and filter.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing for my 09 Electra Glide . In fact I purchased a take off 2017 filter assembly on ebay for $50.00. It looks doable, but definitely going to have to make an adapter of some sort. The 17 housing isn't centered on the throttle body and the 3 bolt pattern orients the air cleaner at a cocked angle. If I get it to work I'll be sure to put up some pics. Mike
