Default S7S Tear drop air cleaner
How far out from the face of the carb does the air cleaner stick out? Further than stock on a 97 DL? Pics?

Depends which K&N air filter you use. 3" or 4"....

I use a stock S&S filter on my G, which sticks out 3". Not sure what the part number is.

And the answer is about 3/4 of an inch out farther than the stock air filter. Was afraid it would hit my knee. Came today.

Had it out over the weekend. Did not touch my leg in my normal riding position.
