Hot the PC5 and had a Fuel moto map, was getting 38-40 mpg, put the auto tune unit on and now down to 31-32 mpg.....Am I kissing something here,

 

More power = more fuel and air???

 

Thing is it don't run any stronger....or cooler. I already had a pretty good tune from FM. I thought the AT would improve my mileage. I have cans, pipes , true dual and SE ac.

 

Got a hold of a very helpful fella at Power Commander/ Dyno Jet and he hooked me up... Spent about 30-40 minutes logged in to my command center and fixed me right up... WOW... that was great customer service...My map was way out of whack and I was not doing what I needed to do when I was accepting my values.

 

People wanna build a hotrod and maximize fuel milage. Sometimes I just don't get it.

Where in his conversation did I say I wanted a Hot Rod.? I wanted the PC5 to work well with my set up...I have had my tuner on the bike for years and it worked decent and add auto tune and gas mileage drops by 9-10 mpg?....No you didn't get it. Lol

I do apologize for my remark. It was completely inappropriate. Sorry man. Didn't mean to offend..

 

Not offended too bad dude...I am just baffled by the problem....ride the bike again today and mpg up to 33 avg.. The guy from power commander assured me it would get better...we shall see, I will try again this week...if it doesn't get better I am pulling the auto tune...and going back to the previous map and get 40 mpg.
