Default Tank bra ?

Wondering if they cause more paint damage than they protect.

Anyone have one and NOT like it ?

If you mean something like a tank bag, yes, I have one, and no, it hasn`t scratched my tank. I`ve had it for about 6 months.

I think you are talking about the one that goes between the seat and the tank and yes I had one on my '09 ultra from right after I got the bike. I bought it because I am short and was always up on the back of the tank. It did haze the tank where it touched but it did protect the tank somewhat.

Pleeeese do not do this (bra) to your bike!
Google "3M paint protector film" for the areas you want to protect.

As OLDMIKE says

Had one on my 09. Not good had to have it buffed out. Still have the bra hanging to remind me of the damage it caused.

That's kind of what I thought. I can't remember if I had one years ago or if it was a buddy's, but do remember some "hazing" of the clearcoat.

I've used the tank bra since 2010 - still use it on my 2014.

It does protect my tank from my buckle. Have not had any problems.
