fillin up yesterday and see this floating in the tank. Pretty sure it's from where the painter did a terrible prep job, but wanna make sure it's not the tank lining.
So, you just had the tank painted? Take a flash light and look into the tank, to see if there is more in there. You should be able to see if the liner is coming away from the tank also. What you have there, looks like more than I would think could be unintentionally lost on new paint job...

What year is your bike?? '99-'07? Yes that's the liner, had to do mine on my '03 Bagger. Unfortunately I think my Softail is next. = (
If you look in there you'll see it bubbling, if you do it yourself use the POR 15 kit. Best out there.
