This is the second time in the last 2 years that I have had to remove my floor boards for some kind of maintenance which included removing the floor board spacers I installed to push my boards out to a more comfortable position away from the bike. This is also the second time the powder feels all soft between the parts and just peels off in sheets down to bare metal apparently from the Blue Loctite? The first time I had to replace the spacer kit. Looks like I'll have to do it again. Why, suggestions besides not using Loctite. Isn't powder suppose to be tougher than standard paint?
I would send them to Joe and be done with it, you have no idea what you get from some of the people that sell aftermarket parts, I bought risers and they look painted so I will have blasted and coated once I have them the way I want.
Rick i would guess it is the type of powder maybe, or the fact that they do not blast the parts prior to coating... but either way it should still not lift
