heel shifter

Default heel shifter

I removed my heel shifter on my 2010 ultra now I have extra shaft sticking out. Do I need a bigger spacer? how to fix???

Moco has a cap for that, and I think there are a couple of other suppliers as well. I think they run about $15.00.

I put a black rubber cap I had on it but wasnt sure if there is way to get rid of the extra?

Cap or move shifter out and use a spacer. Both are readily available for this.

I tried both and like the spacer better. Now I don't feel like I'm shifting pigeon-toed.

Same here. I also took the peg off the shifter and turned it around and reinstalled the peg.
