heel toe shifters stripped

heel toe shifters stripped
Hi All,
I have a 04 Electra Glide (FLHT)
My heel toe shifter had become loose so I removed it to have a look at the threads inside.
Sure enough, just as I suspected, the cylinder that the shifter slides onto is stripped. I was able to rig it for now, but I will need to replace it.
Does anyone happen to know the name of the toothed cylinder that the heel toe shifters attach to?
Thanks in advance,
Rick

03 and 04 had shift shaft problems, I believe the metal was too soft, at any rate, the cure is to replace the shift shaft, both, hell and toe shifter arms and the inner shift arm that sits on the inside of the shaft and your problems will be over, litterlly forever. I you replace on lever at a time, it will be an ongoing issue.
