Ok heading out April 30th from central ohio to ride down to Panama City Beach for the spring ralley we got married there 3 years ago on May 3rd so we shall return 3 years later on the 3rd.

Going to shoot straight south from just north of columbus ohio and arrive in PCB on friday stay for the ralley Fri, Sat, Sun then leave on Monday ride to Ft Myers Beach have house in the sand on the beach stay there for week.

Any thoughts or local places in PCB we may have missed or things to see and also in FT myers haven't been there in many years. or nice rides in the FT myers area while we are there for the week.

In PCB we plan to do some riding west along the emerald coast from PCB to Pensacola.

 

Hunts Oyster Bar for some good seafood and Angelo's Steak Pit for a good steak.

 

In Ft Myers ... check out the "The fish house" , thats the name. it is out on Ft Myers beach, its tough to find. tucked behind a strip mall/ 7-11 I think. Sits on a marina, Seafood is great. Doc Fords is also very good. My in-laws snow bird there. Didn't go down this year but in years past these are the places I try to go to eat.

I heard they built a new HD dealership out by the airport, its supposed to be pretty wild. Has a concert venue.

Hi great chooses...I have lived in the Fort Myers area 30 years. I have also lived in Panama City but before the Bike Rally's. You are going to miss Leesburg, Florida's Bike Rally its before Panama City's Rally. But its more inland for the Floridians who don't get much chance to ride hills and country roads like you have up North...Only really good thing is that we have great weather in the winter to ride...Summer its ride early before the daily rains start...And while your in Fort Myers area ride over to Sanibel and Captiva if you have not already been there. Depending on when and how long you will be here contact me and I can escort you to some awesome places...

I live in fort Myers and work on Sanibel. Stay off Sanibel unless you go early and plan to stay until after 7.
Traffic is awful and there is only one way/off the island. You will not be happy on a bike.
