Default Work is sending me on a road trip

My work is sending me to Houston for a couple of days. Doesn't matter if I fly or ride. Cooler temps and dry weather for both directions. Approximately 830 miles one way (St Louis to Houston). I have two days to get there (Saturday and Sunday) and a day and a half (Tuesday evening and Wednesday) to come back. And its right before Thanksgiving. Farthest I have ridden is 630 miles in one day with my gf as passenger (that was interesting). Ride or Fly?

Lol, low 40's is fine. I won't be there until Sunday, upper 60's. Then Monday and Tuesday mid to upper 70's. Perfect weather.

Ride ..... but do a detailed research on the weather. A day and a half is enough time to get back. If you ride 250 miles on Tuesday, you will have 570 left for Wednesday. That's easily doable.

While it sounds nice to ride all you'll need is a little rain in 40 deg temps to ruin the fantasy and it is damned near December in the midwest, use a little common sense here.

PS I spent 15 long years in Kansas City so this isn't cali talking to you.

Too much weather between here and IL this time of year..., and can always rent a bike when you get to Houston

Fly

Well, things have changed here twice. Today. We are back on for going, although a bit late to ride so I'll have to fly. Coming back on Tuesday night.

The ride will have to wait until next time. Thanks for the replies.
