Default scrapes on right hand turns

Bike is new to me. Its in the middle of a complete rebuild. When in a right hand turn if I lean just a little it scrapes pretty bad. I bought it as is. I have always done my own mods and have never ran into this. Did these bikes come off the floor that low ? what should I check, shock height ? I checked the frame and it's true. any advise is appreciated. bikes pic is very large but below. 81 flh heritage.

The problem is the aftermarket pipes and the shocks are too short. On a stock set up the swingarm will be level not tilted like on your setup. Even with the proper shocks you will probably still drag with those pipes.

Thank you. I'll try some stock shocks and see what happens. That swing looks 2'' off

Normally the floorboards are one of the first things to hit the tarmac.your pipe is routed under the floorboard. That's where the problem should be sorted.

You can avoid it by going to a 2-1 exhaust system...

With the independents on there the front pipe is pushed too far below causing the scraping.

Yup your pipes....if I rub my hand along the bottom trailing edge of my front pipe...there's not much metal left under it...she scrapes all the time on right turns.
