Default How to snug up the popsicle?

My old kick pedal would always work its way outward while cruising, especially on the highway. Now I have a brand new chrome popsicle pedal to match my pegs, grips, shifter, brake. This one seems a little worse,New spring washer is in,bolt tight as hell. It would be nice to have the pedal in when I come to a stop. Just put blue locktite on it,will try out this week when rain clears.
Ideas if this fails?????

You can bend it more, add a second washer, or thicker washer.

If you like the kick arm you have...just add spring washers till it is tight. If you use the correct kick arm for that year bike, it will give you a LOT more room when you put your leg down at a stop.

Interesting, clicked the link and the two that said ratchet top and the original arm look like mine. Thought mine was original, are you saying that mine should swivel at the bottom and not the pedal? The space doesn't matter much just the pedal moving out.

So much for the locktite idea, didn't bind it at all. I'm gonna try and score it up and bend that washer some,it's all too smooth.

Bottom swivel was stock.

Tom is correct. The one the swivels in is stock. I like the older style ones that stick out, but I have to be very careful not to bust my knee on it when jumping on. The stock one swings out of the way. I still have my original, but I'm not using it.

Get someone to help you hold the one you have and really crank the pivot bolt down. It will pinch it tighter. Trying to do it yourself will have it slipping and maybe hurt you.

I must say I'm disappointed in you guys, lol. I was expecting a miracle fix beyond my normal thinking.
