Default Ignition / coil ID help

In checking out the old girl components that might effect mileage / performance, etc. I found this under the points cover.

And the coil is also without a name, just the letters MM28391 on the side.
Tried Google - got not much.

Any help / advise would be appreciated.

If I had to guess, which I must as I've not seen that one, it is a hall effect triggered, single fire, electronic ignition. Probably using the mechanical advance mechanism, which is gonna be a problem if not receiving regular attention.
All I gots
