Oil consumption
Kind of a generic question but what would be the average oil consumption for a stock 74 motor ridden in average summer conditions?

I'm down a quart about 850 miles.

My bike doesn't leak much and it doesn't seem to burn much but it uses more oil than that. I'm guessing a quart per 300 miles.

a quart every 300 is a lot!!!
Mine with worn oil rings used a quart every 200

Unknown on the top end. Information unavailable from PO. Odometer reads 21k and it may never have been done.

The service manual says oil consumption is between 250 to 500 miles per quart.
