Cool Oil Temp Range lean or rich

I guess a above normal hot bike can indicate a lean running bike. Not sure what above normal temp might be.

I am curious if anyone has one of those dip stick oil temp gauges. I realize there are a lot of factors to consider but I am curious if there is a general consensus on what a typical oil temp range should be.

Outside temp of 75 doing 70mph on the highway for at least 15 miles sounds typical to me.

Running Syn-3 my bike was at 210, when I pulled off the highway. I then went the same way back but only checked after I was in bumper to bumper traffic for 15 mins, then it was 240.

Not even certain how many degrees less, if any the oil temp should be in the tank vs the engine temp.

Thinking about getting one of those oil filter heat sync sleaves, not sure if they work though..

Thanks.

My tank temp is anywhere between 185 and 240 degF depending on the ambient, how hard I've been riding, and any traffic before stopping and checking the temps.

Summer, arriving home after a 38 mi commute my average temp is 220 degF.

Mine is tuned with the TTS MasterTune, and don't believe its running lean or rich.
