Default How to remove


hey guys, just wanting to know how to remove the shaft from the bottom tree clamp.
Thanks.

The retaining clip comes out then tap it out of the tree.

Heating the shaft with a torch will help a lot.

Not saying that you are incorrect, but if you heat the shaft it will increase in size, which would make it more tight. If you were going to heat anything, wouldn't you heat the tree, or just press it out after retaining clips are removed.

+1. If you're looking to powder coat them, its just as easy to mask off the shaft and coat the trees.

to powder coat, I want to get the bottom of the shaft coated where is keeps getting surface rust, its off a 2014 Breakout
