MO-Door Garage door opener works great so far!
Purchased a MO-Door garage door opener. It works with garage door openers that have a "Learn" button or dip switches.
I placed mine just inside the headlight nacelle then attached the little button/pad on the top of the frame between goose neck and gas tank.
MO-Door has different buttons with different wire length.

HD version requires a receiver and to tapped to the harness. With the Softail you have to buy the $17 accessory harness and lift the gas tank to get to the high beam wire. So about $160. Flicking the high beam switch is cool with the HD version but the MO-Door was $69.
I realize there are even less expensive alternative like hiding a small remote or just carry a remote in your pocket. I looked at trying to find a key chain size but gave up. Also some guys make their on.
I work way too many hours to do many DIY projects. I like to use my free time for riding my bike more then tinkering with it.
I had the MO-Door programmed and on the bike in less than 10 mins.
After I programmed it I checked how far away it worked before I put it on the bike.

I've had one for almost a year now... Great little product. The company/owner is one of the better guys I've ever delt with. I had an issue with my innitial unit ( they had a bad batch of batteries come through). They sent me all the replacements free of charge and were extremely quick on email replies.
One of these days I'll get around to ordering a second unit for my step father. Buy with confadince, great product, even better customer service.

I took one of my old garage door openers, cracked it open, soldered two wires to the switch terminals, velcroed it inside fairing and ran the wires to a tour pak lock/unlock momentary switch that I snapped into open slot on inner fairing housing. It's has worked perfect for 4 years. Completely out of sight, took 45 minutes. $30 total cost. Next time I'm in the fairing, I'll probably switch the little battery just to be safe.
