So i stopped in Bergen Harley to look for a 09 Road King and and came across this Deluxe with fat spoke wheels, long pipes and apes with braided lines.
The price took me back a lot. $26,995. I know dealerships don't run on farts and lollipops, but thoughts ?
No... a used bike should NOT cost more than a new bike, even with extras. If it was a one off custom made thing, maybe. And that finance rate? Ridiculous! I'm paying on a 4.2% rate for my NT and im 25 with bad credit...
They either paid way too much to get that bike off a real smooth ******(this is supposed to say t.a.l.k.e.r) and they're trying to get out from under it, or they're on drugs, possibly trying to screw someone over.
It is a nice bike, don't get me wrong. But not NEARLY as nice as it should be for those dollar signs.
It's meant for the ready-made crowd. Some people just want to buy it the way they want it. It will end up getting 1000 miles a year for two seasons then resold.
