Last time I tried researching this I kept seeing something about the hoses being reccomended for "show" only. I didn't want to go through all this trouble and find out that the hoses would be a constant issue especially if they would be run through the bars.
If Im not mistaken, Im pretty sure a lot of members in here that have gone all internal have used the lines you are talking about with no issues. I was looking at doing it myself but decided against it for the very same reason you mention. It does look very clean though. Hopefully someone who has used these lines will chime in.

I'm still digging on the lines issue, I have the same concerns with the ones you make yourself not being DOT approved. I have run across a couple of manufactures that will make custom length lines, so I have thought about working out my plumbing and routing with the others and then ordering DOT approved lines and fittings. I know the different lines are different diameters, but this may turn out to be an advantage with the Can-bus bike because with fewer wires in the bars I have more room to work with. One of the reasons I'm working on this now and not in the middle of winter is because I'm going into it this winter with a plan so the bike comes out ready to ride in the spring. It's always an adventure with the newer technology and I always take it as a challenge when people tell me it's not possible. But that's what makes this forum great, the fact that we all can share our experience and the information we have learned.

Just use the EZ align brake line. You can order it how ever you need. Thats what I did. Unless of course you are doing all internal. You may need to go a different route.
