opinions/advice wanted
Ok so I've started accumulating parts to swap my 21" front wheel fora 16"(shudda bought a fat boy),so far Ive only got a tyre from a swap meet, but am looking out for other parts, still not sure how it's all gonna look with my solid 17" back wheel(Night Train) and the fat spoked 16" up front, the 21" looks ok but I'm stuck on the fence a bit.
Was gonna just get my hub from the21" re-laced with the smaller rim but now I'm thinking of getting a fresh 16"er in case I dont like the look when it's done....what d'ya reckon guys?....Promise I won't be insulted!

Hi Hogster
Just my 2cents worth.
I would go with a 17" front. Fatboys have them now so tyres would not be a problem.
I think having the rims front and back same diam would look better than a smaller one on front.
Also I don't think a spoke on front with a solid rear would suit with rims same size.
Other sugestion would be 18" front and rear. seen 18" on a bike before and looked good. Filled out the fenders.
If front and back were same size and were spoked with those thick spokes out now and rims powder coated (red for example) depending on the colour of your train.
Maybe some one can run with the idea on a paint program and turn a couple of different varables up to see what it looks like.
Good Luck.
Changing rim diam will really make a big difference to the look of your bike.
Do U need to lengthen the forks with the smaller diam wheel?

Personally, I like 16"s front and rear on Night Trains....

A totally blacked out Fat boy looking bike would be the ****, regardless of how you decide to get there.
