FL rear fender on FX ?
Ok Im finally gonna do this. I got me a matching FatBoy rear fender for my FXSTSI. Need some recomendations for installation, will my hardware bolt right up? And how bout wiring? I know I will need a license plate mounting kit and FL style rear light kit. I would assume all the wiring and prep is done before attempting to mount the thing, although it wouldnt be the first time I did something that stupid Thanks in advance for the help[sm=coolness.gif].

RE: FL rear fender on FX ?
PM sent this morning.
This ought to be a bolt-on, with same-generation parts. The struts are the same (except for Deuce), and the only wiring difference is in length, since the Fatboy light is lower on the fender vs. a Bobtail light. That's where I should have gotten the Fatboy harness. I got lucky, my Fat fender came with all the lights, as well as a laydown plate frame.

RE: FL rear fender on FX ?
Thanks Guys ! Im so pumped, cant wait until its done. The rear fender is a direct match paint and pin strip from and '05 Fatboy going on my '05 FX so there should be no fitting issues. Just gotta get the plate and the light figured out. I would love to go with the swing arm plate mount, but thats a little more than I can do right now. Thanks again[sm=happybounce.gif]
Thanks for your PM JBT !!
