Bike runs too hot! Have the "reach seat" on the bike-will the heat shields fit right and what else can I do to make the engine run cooler.Lady rider!

 

If you are wearing jeans, try throwing chaps over them... it helps a lot.
Did you do any changing of the pipes/ac and tuning? It makes a huge difference.

Synthetic oil helps some too.

All 3 and you wont even notice the heat unless sitting still for a long time.

 

Ditto! My engine temp dropped from 235-240 stock to 200-215 with intake, pipes, and Fuel Mangement.
